The Beginning

Listen child, for this is the story of how the world began. It all started with a seed. This seed was brimming with life, but without water, it could not live. So the seed commanded that there be water and it was so. With the water, the seed survived. But without soil, it could not take root. So the seed commanded that there be soil and it was so. And the seed took root. But without the sun, it remained small. So the seed commanded that there be sun and it was so. The seed reached for the sun and grew up through the surface of the water. And with it, it brought the land up. And that is how the earth was formed. Without the three nutrients, water, earth, and sun, the seed could not live. And from these three came the life we know today. But you see, child, there were no stories at the beginning. So the first nutrients could not tell their children the story I tell you now. And so the children forgot who they were. And because they did not know they needed each other to live, they used their differences for hatred and darkness. And a great sadness consumed the souls of the children of the three nutrients. Until a child of the earth called Reed found the roots again.
